It is funky on the outside. Like someone's Uncle Will built a shed and put a kitchen in it. I went for lunch on a Saturday and the place was busy but not overly so. Decided to go with the 12 ounce RibEye with sides of mashed potatoes/gravy and okra. We usually try to eat at the Steak & Catfish Barn one a month. Don;t let the outside (or inside) keep you away; it's a dive but the food served is excellent. When we pulled up I questioned my husband!!! The outside looks pretty run down. If I had not been with him I would have never stopped. But once we got inside it turned out to be a neat little place!! I can only handle the Steak & Catfish Barn a couple times a year because everything worth eating is deep fried. They have all you can eat catfish for really cheap (I think $12), which also comes with sides. I usually stick to a regular portion for $8.
