Apple Barrel is a down home, wonderful place to eat. Huge portions, reasonable prices and friendly staff. We have eaten at the Bixby location several times, but are closer to the Broken Arrow location, so we go there more often. Vegetable beef soup is amazing!

The food was good but it freaked me out to see the manager putting my lettuce and cheese in a bowl with his hands then he handled cash from a customer. The broccoli and cheese side had no cheese.

My husband and I eat at the Applebarrel several times a month.....A great place for great value....good service.....friendly servers.....portions are so large that we use 1/2 for the next days mean. Old fashion style restaurant......no better place for comfort food. Get there early on Sunday.......fills up quickly after 11:30am.

We were in Bixby for a ball tournament and used the recommendation here to find a place to eat. We were not disappointed. This place is GREAT!!! !! Good food, large servings and friendly service....all at reasonable prices. What more could one want? One senior, two boomers, two xers and five 12-15 year olds; everyone was happy.
