5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 June 2013 NEW

I recently stayed at the Historic Hotel Millersburg on Main Street in the small town of Millersburg Ohio in the heart of Amish Country. I had lunch in the hotel's restaurant and enjoyed it very much. They have quite a large menu with your average tavern/pub selections and dinner entrees. They also have a full bar. The staff was very... More

Heard it was really nice here, but felt disappointed. The restaurant was crammed into the back of the place and it was not as clean, fresh or nice as I was led to believe. The food was average and nothing special really.

Food was good, service was fun (waitress certainly had a sense of humor). We were a large group & one waitress handled us without worry. They have an outside courtyard that was not set up when we were there, but I'll bet it's a good time in the summer.

The hotel had ambiance. We did not stay there but had dinner. The food was fair. I would not go back there for dinner. Green beans came from a can - awful. The best part of the meal was the side salad - very generous serving.

Located in the historic Hotel Millersburg, this old-time restaurant is a comfortable trip back about 100 years. The ownership change several years back has really benefited the place. Be sure to get the Reuben sandwich!

The atmosphere of the old hotel makes the food taste so much better. :) The pork chops were done just right and served with good sides. I forget some of the details but I remember the pork chops.

Closes early in the evening. Doesn't serve breakfast. We ate there for dinner and it was fine. Onion soup was particularly good.

We went here for dinner on a Saturday night on a weekend in the area. Honestly, the food was terrible, I mean REALLY terrible. My husband, who will eat almost anything without complaint even said it was awful. Based on the atmosphere and decor of the hotel on the way back to the "tavern", you expect to step into a... More

If we are going to head down to Amish country, it is quite a round-trip drive for us, so we make a weekend out of it and book a room at the Millersburg hotel. Go down on a Friday night after work and relax at the hotel and restaurant, then venture out for a day of shopping in nearby Amish... More

The food is good; the prices are extremely reasonable. The wine and beer list is marginal at best. We have eaten lunch at the hotel several times, but this was the first time we had dinner there. The staff is friendly, service was prompt and good (even though they were extremely busy).
