Too bad so much is deep fried but always satisfying. You should try their cobb salad. Big and delish!
The Old Bag of Nails is a great place to have a drink and a good casual meal. The fish and chips are outstanding and the servers are some of the best. A particular shout-out to Tiffany, she makes you feel special.
Even though I live a few minutes away from this location, I go to the Tremont rd location. The food here at the Hilliard location is great but the service here is not the greatest. It is a shame that the service here has not improved.
We arrived at Hilliard Old Bag of Nails at 7:45. We were seated immediately. We sat there for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Waitstaff were walking all around us, no one said a word to us or said they would come by in a minute. The place was not busy, so we left. This is the second time we... More
A nice little pub with good food. Good drink prices and some intersting/different dishes. The potato pancake appetizers were delicious! Shrimp was delicious. They don't take reservations so we were lucky to get a seat around 5:30 on a Friday night. The place filled up quickly! Just a friendly, good place.
The atmosphere is fun but the food was lacking as it left a film over your mouth. It seemed double fried. They could benefit from a menu adjustment.
The food is outstanding! There is a wide selection on the menu and the portions of food are good. The wait staff is accommodating and pleasant. A great place to eat in a casual atmosphere.
Upscale pub in a historic building in Old Hilliard. My favorites are the wedge salad and their fish & chips. Great beer list - the only place around that serves Hofbrau that I know of. Always reminds me of Munich.
Had a very nice meal here, nothing fancy, but good food and good service. Nice children’s menu, drink menu. I had a salad with grilled scallops on it, it was different but excellent. Don’t miss the potato pancake appetizer. Fried shrimp (sneaked off my daughter’s plate) was excellent as well. They don’t take reservations so come early on the weekends... More
I ate here twice last week. the Po boys are excellent with really fresh bread and tender fish and shrimp. The place is very bright and the wait staff are friendly. I would eat here again at the drop of a hat.
