A little disappointing the food and service do not match the surroundings. Very expensive and not a great choice, the standard of the food was acceptable but nothing more. Alcohol also very expensive - a great shame as it is very local and I would return if a better choice and better value for money.

I have been to Fawsley Hall on several occasions in the past and, to be quite honest, the experience has been a bit "hit and miss". I'm glad to report that my visit for lunch on this occasion, it was definitely "hit". The Brasserie was totally devoid of diners when my two colleagues and I were shown to our table... More

I came to Fawsley hall with my brother and parents to celebrate the fact that I was getting married the next day. On arrival the grounds are obviously very impressive. We were told to take a seat in the waiting area before moving to our table, however, the maitre d had obviously not looked around as there was not a... More

It's been a while since we visited Fawsley Hall, having had some bad dining experiences. But we thought we'd give it another try, hoping it would have got better - after all, how wrong can you go with Sunday lunch? It turns out, very wrong. We should have got a clue from the badly-planned set menu. Asparagus soup and smoked... More

I have investigated your review comments with the Head Waiter on duty last Sunday, who advises you were immediately refunded the elements of your lunch highlighted to him which were not to your liking. We offer a balanced three course table d’hôte Sunday lunch menu, with a choice of four starters, four mains and four desserts using seasonal produce hence... More

Visited this restaurant for a business lunch, service was good and food was excellent. Fawsley Hall is in beautiful suroundings, well worth a visit. We were the only people in the restaurant and so it lacked a little atmosphere, perhaps a set menu option lunch maybe a good idea. It was a little expensive, but I guess as it is... More

This could be very nice indeed. We were a family group who went there for Sunday lunch. The surrounding buildings are beautifully decorated and the actual restaurant is spacious with comfortable chairs and good linen and cutlery etc. The menu is quite restrictive but seems to cater for most tastes. When the food came it was good - but it... More

I've been here once before with my husband on a Monday night and we were the only people there so it lacked atmosphere and warmth. This time we were with two friends and whilst we had a lovely time because we were with our friends Fawsley lacks the quality of cuisine I expect from such a splendid building. We were... More

We had afternoon tea in The Great Hall here and the service really could have been better. We were a group of a dozen and felt rather frowned upon as the waiter and watress really acted as though they had better things to do and the service took ages. I was disappointed with that. On the plus side, the platter... More
