We have been to Shakesbys several times and have enjoyed the food and the ambiance totally and if you have never tried blade of beef you are missing out and salt & pepper pear with Stilton ice cream is to die for. Ted Wheeler

Had a lovely meal with my Husband a couple of weeks ago! The king prawns to start, rump of lamb as a main and chocolate brownie to finish! Food was absolutely outstanding and service was great! 11/10!

Visited Shakesbys whilst on a weekend away in Horncastle. We booked for the "beat the clock" menu - it was lovely and without fault. The restaurant was cosy and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Such a shame we live too far away to return!

Think particularly their early bird menu is superb value.
