If you're in a hurry then you'd best look elswhere. Other than that, staff is very friendly and the food (miso soup especially) is very good. Rolls are a little bit on the conservative side but the prices make up for that. Hope they're around for another 28+ years.

have been going to otanis now for about 12 years now. The staff is very nice and if you don't want to pay alot of money for sushi, this is the place to eat. And the quality is great too. Mr. Honda is a great owner

We have been to Otani many, many times. The food is always fresh and delicious. Service is not always fantastic, but if Honda is there, things will be great. Recommended: Otani scallop hand roll, chicken teriyaki, Polaris roll. Karaoke many nights--hilarious, free entertainment to go with fantastic food!

Simply ridiculous. you can get better sushi at the grocery store in one of those premade containers. service just ok. this is more of a japanese karoke hangout/bar. the sushi is horrible, i would not eat it even if it was free. not only is the fish not fresh, they skimp on portion size also. IT IS NASTY
