This place is owned by Der Dutchman Family; however, the restaurant is not as big as other ones. No bakery, so you wouldn't be able to buy apple fritter or donuts. Their buffet was good. As always, mashed potatoes and fried chicken were great. However, I did feel the food selection wasn't all there that you would see at the... More

This was recommended to us by our daughter-in-law's parents. Even though we travel to Berlin, OH once or twice a year, we had never been here. So glad we checked it out! We loved the food, service and decor. Thankfully it was recommended to us. We will definitely return.

We visited the Berlin Farmstead since it was literally within walking distance of our motel (Grande Berlin). Farmstead offers buffet and menu options. The food is basic nothing spectacular. Now mind you it wasn't awful by any means. The wait staff on both our visits were very attentive and friendly. Pricing was a little above average. Best thing we ate... More

We went to dinner after checking into the hotel next door at about 6pm. We waited by ourselves for 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated we waited another 10 minutes for a server and a drink order. We were at the restaurant for about 45 minutes after that. The buffet was not being attended, many things were empty the... More

Farmstead restaurant has been around for quite a few years, under the old ownership it was always not up to the standards of some of the other local "Amish style restaurants" however since the new owners have taken control, this is no longer the case. Very improved food and there are ongoing improvements to the grounds of the restaurant. Is... More

Great menu selection with really friendly staff. Salad bar was nice and clean and the lettuce was actually chopped up. Our meal was delicious and we even went back the next night. Just down the hill from Berlin Grande Hotel. You will want to stay there for sure.

Went here while in visit to Amish country. Owned by der Dutchmann. Not fancy, but very clean. Good tasty, but plain. I guess going with the "plain" Amish theme. Felt rushed though, was asked about dessert before finished dinner.

My fish was a bit rubbery and my husband's food was drowned in salty gravy...didn't quite hit the spot. I did enjoy the creamy topping served with the baked sweet potatoes, though.

Clean, comfortable restaurant. Buffet is inexpensive and decent. Not fancy. Nice people. Worth a stop in.
