Lovely food and lovely people. Nice atmosphere with the wood fire burning. A kids room which is great for the little ones ment everyone could enjoy there delicious meal. German food to die for!

The food here can be overwhelming in size. Be careful what you order, it may defeat you. Overall, a well run dining room serving German themed food and beer. Family friendly, so can be a tad noisy, but then it's a busy pub. Try the wurst and mash.

We stopped in here on our way home from Adelaide recently and after reading the food board decided to eat there. Slept well, comfortable rooms, great location, peacefull and tranquil setting, friendly staff, nice linen, clean and tidy, we had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and couldn't fault both. Relaxed, no pressure to finish your plate, attentive staff.

First of all, we were offended at being charged $9.50 each for a stubby of Boag's beer. 2 each and we'd have paid for a slab. We had dinner here and had the taste of Germany platter, it was piled high with meat and sausages but on the cold side, it took 5 minutes from ordering for it to arrive on our table, so clearly reheated. Service was ok, the beer was good.
