I really enjoyed the meal we had. Chicken fajitas served with cooked beans(nada sugary)white rice, hot green sauce and a coke in a glass bottle. It was a large serving.

Loved this quaint outdoor restaurant. It's kinda tucked back behind other buildings next door to the Akumal Dive Center. We ate breakfast here more days than not on our recent trip. Food was delicious and dirt cheap. We tried several things on their breakfast menu, eggs with chaya, eggs w/ different meats, eggs come with beans and tortillas and awesome... More

Two nights a week, Imelda serves up a Mayan buffet along with some music and dancing entertainment. The food was really excellent, different than anything else we had in Akumal, and the whole thing was a surprisingly intimate experience, as there were only about five tables set up around the small courtyard area where the dancers were. It was a... More

We were so happy with the quality of the more traditional Mexican cocina cooking here at Imeldas...not to mention the family style and relaxed atmosphere served up with the mouth watering enchiladas!!!!

We ate here several times for lunch and breakfast during our stay in Akumal and have no complaints at all! The only even close to complaint was that they don't have any beer. This is a quaint, tucked away little Mexican restaurant that serves authentic Mexican dishes for super cheap prices. It is not fancy and if you want cloth... More

I discovered this place by accident. It is a fantastic little place with two tables and a roof. There's something of a fixed menu--the chicken fajitas were delicious with flavor and it was cheap in my opinion. Chicken fajitas and a coke for 8 dollars. It was a great place to spend lunch in-between my dives.

Imelda is 10 feet away from your table preparing your food, and her seasonings are a tantalizing blend of tastes and smells it will drive you crazy. The very hight of our dining experience was found in this little palapa stand next to Acamul Dive Shop. We love you Imelda.

I wish Imedla's daughter had cooked my chicken fajitas. No flavor served with white rice. It sounds like this place is hit and miss with good meals. I would not eat here again. It was not cheap for what we got. Service was friendly.
