Good food and service. Had dinner around 6 PM, was very busy. Reasonable price. Portions were a good size.....not too big or small.

The fish chips were good but @17.95 it was way over priced. The fish would have been purchased just down 1 city block away for 2-3 dollars, this meal could be had else where anywhere in the park for a lot less. Rocky Harbour is by far the most expensive place in Gros Morne and every where in town it...

If you like moose, local cooking, great hospitality - this is the place. Everything is delicious, prices are great, and where else on the planet can you get a moose pizza! I love it!
After 4 days in Rocky Harbour this unassuming place "at the end of the road" came into view. We met Earl and he was lovely to talk to. He shared lots of stories and was eager to answer questions. We were hoping for a lobster dinner. He had a local fiddler pop in, the place was packed, the service incredible,...

Tasty basic food at good price. We would have liked more choices on the menu. And some of the items on the menu were not available. Nothing special or inspiring. Good service. We were here in the off season.
They have a full page in their menu of all Newfoundland specialties. They know how to cook these meals, too. You will not go away hungry. The service is not very good, though.
This is a very casual, not at all fancy place, heavy on the fried food. My husband loved his moose burger, I had the seafood platter, fish and scallops both overcooked, and didn't taste wonderful. Family friendly, clean bathrooms, good prices, other people we talked with really enjoyed the moose stew.
A very friendly young man greeted us and quickly seated us with menus. Our drinks came quickly and my Iceberg beer came in a frosty glass! Our food was super. Cod au gratin was a large serving with mega cheese. Fried homemade and yummy wings. Highly recommend it!
The food was very good and the prices are decent. Unfortunately, the place lacks atmosphere. The service was good. They serve many "local" dishes and there are several moose dishes to try out. They also serve local beer and wine. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
We had been advised to try this by Sharon at The Humberview in Deer Lake and as it was right across from the Gros Morne Cabins where we were staying it seemed like an easy decision. What a treat! Moose soup which tasted better the most tender beef, an amazing moose burger and the hearty moose stew with a completely...
