Being from Vancouver we have high sushi expectations. 5517 met them and more, particularly because Marie ordered the hotpot which had local clams, crab & rockfish in a Dashi broth. “Absolutely the best sushi on the Coast!!”

Thank goodness for this gem! I am a Coaster and rarely eat out due to the lack of great restaurants here. This place is a must in Sechelt. Fresh, innovative and divine! As good (or better) than Vancouver. The tuna tataki with pine nuts is oh so YUM!

After a disappointing experience at the Lighthouse pub , we came here. What a great restaurant, with great service. If you are tired of watching drug deals at these local pubs with cameras in the washroom(the lighthouse) come and enjoy the best Sushi on the coast

I have lived on the Sunshine Coast for 13 years and am very familiar with all of the restaurants here. Sushi Bar 5517 is by far the best!! Everything here is fresh. The service is great. I will be returning. Even the ginger was the right color not that processed pink stuff. Very impressed

Although the place was busy, our orders arrived promptly. Lunch special sushi awesome, sashimi was fresh and cold. My granddaughter wants to go again when she visits for Christmas.

We ordered Sushi to take home. The Sushi was ready as promised and we loved it. Also appreciated that they threw in a few extra's.
