The restaurant is hidden away in a shopping center, so you have to look for it. Every item from the Coquille Saint Jacques appetizer, Horseradish Braised Beef Short Ribs entree, and the Pot De Crème Trio for dessert was excellent. The wait staff provided top notch attentive service, and all special requests were meet without any hesitation. As an example... More

We have neighbors that lived in France for years and they introduced us to this place. What a great spot! Small and intimate, always a good meal with great atmosphere.

Found the place through trip advisor. Perfect food, service, ambience. I could have talked to Lil all night. Blue cheese mouse with pair and maple marscapone dessert were over the top .

When it opened, St Jacques was a gem. When Lil and Laurie bought the Gibsonville property, I fear the service level at St Jacques has suffered. Serving staff roles are confusing, and Lil's personal touch is sadly missing. Portions are becoming "American size". When I reserved before, Lil would be prepared when we arrived to discuss our allergies and suggest... More

This was my 2nd time at Saint Jacques. The first time, I thought it was the best food I had ever eaten! I was highly impressed and had the bison dish that night. It was awesome. The Easter brunch, however, failed to impress me. I thought the lamb sucked. It was too fatty, too rare, too gristly, tough and not... More

We have been to St Jacques a few times and it has never disappointed us. The location is funky in a strip mall, but once you walk inside you are slowly transported to another land and place. The food is classic French and so is the service,,not rushed, take your time and enjoy the meal and company,

After a disappointing Valentine's Day meal here several years ago (and a negative review I left on TA), it took me a long time to return. I'm glad I did. It was really fantastic and one of the best meals that I have had in the Raleigh-Durham area. Everything, from the amuse bouche to the desert was delicious. The flounder... More

Yes, this is in a strip mall. But as soon as you enter St. Jacques you will be swept away and feel like you are in France. The atmosphere, the quaint restaurant, the service, the food... everything is PERFECT! This is a little hidden gem in North Raleigh. One of the best restaurants by far in the area... a MUST... More

Went here for lunch on a Saturday around noon. My wife and I were the only ones in the restaurant for the duration of our meal, and to make a long story short, the service was a little overbearing. The two servers returned to our table time and again, topping up barely-drunk water, offering second and third helpings of bread,... More

My friend took me here for my birthday for lunch. I grew up in France and this is as close as I have found to eating in a fine restaurant in Paris. Even the restroom was well appointed. The music and decor set the stage for an inviting time. Service marvelous and I was surprised with a swan cream pastry... More
