Great service, great atmosphere and delicious food. I stayed at the Renaissance in North Hills and although there are many restaurants around the hotel, I found this little gem worth the drive!

Very popular in No Raleigh restaurant as there's always a crowd. Went for drinks/appetizers one week and returned 2 wks later for dinner. Fish Tacos were excellent. I love the "spicy" margaritas (habanero pepper muddle makes the spice). No doubt this place will be hopping even more in May for Cinco festivities. It is loud, so it would be difficult...

If you are in North Raleigh and would like a GREAT place to have dinner, go to Gonza's! They have an outstanding staff and the owner walks around making sure everything is running smoothly. We have been here several times enjoying a number of different items from the menu - we really like their version of burritos. All of the...

This is a great place to go with friends or family. Noise level is pretty loud as the place is always busy. The food is excellent and is priced very fair. They have an extensive selection of tequillas and they have more food items than they list on the menu. This is a pretty casual place as attire is varied...

The Mexican Flag, Nachos Gabachos, and Coconut Flan are my all-time favorites! The staff is friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The atmosphere is casual and fun. We love the Day of the Dead painting on the right back wall and collection of wrestling masks. Very cool place to take friends for dinner or lunch--all ages.
4 of 4 stars (excellent, casual dining).

I like Gonza and I like his restaurant. But, it's been more than a year now and the menu hasn't changed much. The "Ghost Menu" items are now in print, but --- other than that--- the menu is the basically same.
Would love to see...

Well priced, excellent food, pleasant service, will return! On Saturday nights, watch for the model on top of the entrance wall...she's not a mannequin!
My girlfriend and I dined at Gonza's tonight and it was incredible! I had the Plantains and Steak dish with cheese and beans and it was spectacular! So was the Passion Fruit and Strawberry Margaritas and the guacamole, salsa and chips - all delicious and freshly made! My girl had the white fish with coconut rice and she loved it!...

The food is truly outstanding but be prepared to wait, Even with a reservation we waited 30 minutes. The restaurant is lively, noisy and packed. The wait staff is great and somehow manage to be attentive even with the number of diners. The food is the worth the wait. We love this place.
