I saw all the great reviews and had to check this place out. I love unique dessert places when I travel. It's located around the circle across the street from the NC State University Bell Tower on Hillsborough. I went with the standard "can't go wrong" cookies and cream pop, but it wasn't overly flavorful. I guess it was missing... More

I took it as a good sign that the line was out the door when we approached this gourmet popsicle café. We went there on a Saturday afternoon, and we were able to park right in front of the store since it’s free parking on Saturdays. As we waited in line, I saw some small tables just inside the restaurant.... More

We stopped here TWICE on our 24 hour trip to Raleigh. On the first visit I got the grapefruit basil and my husband got the mango chile. We tasted our respective pops, and then decided to trade each other. The next day, we stopped in for an avocado pop and a blackberry pomegranate pop. Both were good, but we preferred... More

My daughter is currently staying within walking distance of the LocoPops Hillsborough St location and has been telling me nonstop how wonderful everything is. Echoing others, great flavors, reasonable pricing. I enjoyed it, but fair warning: I think it may be habit forming.

They now have coffee and popsicles at Creedmoor Road location. Also, we got the pops at Durham Science museum -- yummy.

I love the sophisticated flavor options--but they do have tamer options and smaller sizes for the kids. So refreshing on a hot day. I also love that it's local. I usually go to the location on Hillsborough Street, but just discovered a new location just off of Strickland where they offer the most delicious coffee I've ever tasted!

For $2, you'll find the best, most unique flavors around in a fun, frozen treat. I highly recommend the Habenero Mango and the Mexican Chocolate - they were delicious! My husband and I can't wait to take new friends and family in town visiting there, they always have great service and fun, new flavors. We have NEVER had a bad... More

When I first moved to Raleigh, a dear friend purchased my first Locopop for me, encouraging me to "pay it forward" and share my Loco love with all other Triangle newbies. After my first bite (or lick) I was hooked and have faithfully done my part ever since. Locopops is one of my favorite places in Raleigh (and Durham and... More
