We had some locals tell my friend and me about this place as THE place to go for ice cream. We weren't disappointed. American Pie is the last place in KDH to have homemade icecream. Everyone else has moved to mass-produced ice cream.

A great range of flavours, some of them more unusual than your normal, served in huge scoops. Simply heavenly ice cream - don't miss this one. Favourite flavours? Chocolate orange, key lime pie, choc peanut butter......

The pizza is good here, but the ice cream is generic for the most part. They do have an apple pie flavor that's to die for, but that's probably the best one. Also, there tends to be a big wait at night for ice cream.
