We had breakfast there. Our eggs were very good and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We would definitely go back for a casual option on Main Street.

Great coffee and outstanding prepared foods. Why cook? They have an exceptional array of to go and take out, though the grocery section of the store is ho-hum.
Very casual and friendly service. From the outside you wouldn't expect what they have to offer inside. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffees, groceries, and food to go. Our lunch was fresh and very well prepared. The portions are very large. We will definitely return.
It is hard to describe Mountain Fresh Grocery in one word. It is a grocery store with a great wine selection, a coffee bar and a restaurant. It is an all in one! There are a lot of very nice, swanky places to eat in Highlands. But if it is lunch time and your looking for a good meal that...

Very casual and friendly service. Everything fresh and well prepared. Specials everyday in addition to regular menu. Wonderful take home dinner specials everyday too and if you are lucky enough to be there on Sunday for the special skillet fried chicken you are in for a treat!...

it's just delicious. bacon is perfect, home-made sausage gravy is awesome, coffee tastes great (i guess this is not the news for anyone though). they guys that work there are always really nice and accommodating. really pleasant experience every time i go there.

Wander down the quaint shops of Main Street and the looming presence of the Old Edwards Inn, now gigantic resort and spa, and you'll find arguably the best food in town at a fair price....

Picture a very small grocery store with a deli counter, a coffee bar, sporting an excellent selection of wines, olive oils and balsamic vinegars, where locals prefer to come for breakfast and lunch, sitting in scattered very comfortable chairs and you may begin to imagine this place. I would prefer to hang here a lot.
I believe this place has new ownership as of a couple of years ago....I do know that it has improved gangbusters since i last visited in 2010....great selection of organic wines....an olive oil bar (crazy fun)....a balsamic vinegar bar...plus, super nice people....and an inexpensive way to eat in an expensive town.
This place is like a grocery store, wine shop, coffee shop and restaurant in one. Had lunch on a Sunday afternoon...pimento cheese burgers with potato bacon soup ($9), chili and a Belgium waffle. My daughter liked her waffle but my other daughter said her chili was bland. I liked my burger okay but the soup was just so-so. We also...
