We docked at the Jennette free dock and they ask you to patronize one of the local restaurants in return. After reading the reviews, we those Cypress Creek Grill and were not disappointed. The service was attentive and polite. We had the sandwich menu: Crab cake sandwich and Tuna roll. Both are to be recommended. The appetizer of the homemade... More

Charming restaurant and host in downtown historic Elizabeth City. Friends assure us that the grill is a consistent favorite. The lobster ravioli is a treat---and a visual delight (stripes! Really.). Good selection with some tex-mex influence. Ask Bobby about the local music scene. This is a good bet.

I enjoy the food and variety offered; the service is generally good, but the atmosphere is a little noisy.

Good consistent meals and service. Only complaint is the menu NEVER seems to change. Given it is one of the few nicer restaurants in town, it would be nice to see a little variety in the menu!

Cypress Creek Grill confuses me. It is in the perfect location for a fun or romantic dinner. The ambiance is great! However, the service is insanely lacking! I had an issue with a drink I ordered so I sent it back, when it returned it was no better than the previous. Then hoping to move on with my dinner, I... More

We started off the evening with a wedge salad and oyster appetisers.."Great cocktail sauce" The meal was topped off by a "Die for" deep chocolate brownie... More

Their salmon salad always pleases! They offer many dishes which are mouth watering. But it is an open room and no real sense of intimacy.

I enjoyed the location and view from the restaurant. The food was good and not enormous portions. The service we received from Jessica was wonderful. She was sweet and very attentive to our table. We will be regulars!
