We hit Cherokee in early May of 2013. Most likely before true tourist season heats up. So, we got seated fast in this cafe for breakfast. I would imagine this place is a zoo during peak tourist season as the breakfast was fantastic, service was great and fast. We went there everyday for breakfast, definitely and upgrade from the Continental... More

This is the place I go to eat an awesome, home-cooked, top-notch southern breakfast before any day in Cherokee! This is where the locals eat, too. No matter what you order, you can't go wrong here! I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town! Just remember to check their hours before you go, because I don't think... More

I really enjoyed the pancakes but I suppose that's expected at a pancake house. What I was very surprised at was how good the cornbeef hash was, I've never had cornbeef hash this good. I highly recommend this place for breakfast.

When in Cherokee, we always eat at Peter's. Ask for a window seat overlooking the river to enjoy the ducks swimming around. Food always good even tho their biscuits are small, but they do take charge cards.

Very large portions, very yummy French Toast and Blueberry Pancakes. But this is not the place to look for a heart-healthy breakfast! No fruit on the menu, other than the strawberries and whipped cream waffle. Orange juice arrives in small glasses - like restaurants from yesteryear. Very busy and popular with locals on a Sunday morning. We got there before... More

This is one of the finest breakfast restaurants I've ever visited. It's one of those rare places where staff almost rivals the excellence of the food experience. Speaking of food...I ordered cornmeal pancakes and bacon. Frankly, it was good enough to drive over the mountain for another meal. Generous proportions, exquisitely prepared and served with genuine warmth by waitstaff who were... More

Service was excellent. Food was all a little cold when it was served, but was still very good. Very reasonably priced.

Love the pancakes they serve here (only wish they would serve heated syrup with them!). Breakfast is really good & always a crowd. Service is good. If you can, sit in the front dining area overlooking the river.

I love Peter's! We HAVE to eat breakfast there at least once (sometimes twice) if we're visiting Cherokee. Service is always fast and friendly. The food is great! Try to get a table in the back overlooking the river! Only negative is sometimes it's so packed, you have to wait a little while.

We've eaten here twice and enjoyed the food both times. Nothing fancy but it seems to be dependable for a decent breakfast at a good price.
