The food was very good. Different than most all other restaurants, there was no friend food and it was very fresh.

Neat place, sat in the screened in porch on a wonderful spring day. We had the tuna and chowder and the shrimp with chowder. The tuna was incredible, toasted cheese top, fresh tuna on a garlic bread roll. The chowder? Wow! just incredibly rich, creamy, firm potatoes and lot's of morsels of clams, fish and crab.

Dry overcooked grouper and very poor customer service, thus little thought to return business. After ordering cocktails, appetizer, chowder, salads, and wine with dinner, we were very disappointed with one of the dinner specials- Strawberry Grouper. The grouper was so dry and overcooked that the 4 oz. portion looked miniscule next to a huge strawberry salad. This item was on... More

This is exactly what you want in a resort restaurant by the sea. Tropical decor, fresh seafood, friendly staff, reasonable prices. We were there for lunch--will definitely return for dinner--and drinks--Margaritaville.

Went for our first time. My husband and I both had shrimp and grits- they were awesome and a very large portion! My husband also had the chowder to start with- it was so so good!!! Family friendly too! Great place for little ones as well!! Will definitely go back again!

We ate at Michael's twice while visiting Carolina Beach. It was great!! Luckily we were there in the "off" season so no crowds. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were excellent. The peel and eat shrimp was delicious.

Live near Carolina Beach, they catered our daughters wedding and has always been a good experience. Haven't been in about a year - and it is different. Crab dip and toast points were burned and still served. Shrimp and grits were so-so. I ordered the fresh catch flounder and it was clearly a frozen product and I believe it was... More

I ordered the Snow's Cut Combo which included crab legs, boiled shrimp, red garlic potatoes, and corn on the cob. The crab legs were delicious! They bring out corn bread if you ask for it. Our corn bread was cold but did have a good taste. The kitchen was a little slow but we are willing to wait if the... More

We have been going to Carolina beach for over 15 years and finally made a trip to Michael's. The food was OK, nothing fried, all steamed or boiled. It was a little pricey for what you get and there are not many selections for the non seafood eater in the group. We probably would eat there again, but would not... More
