Storie Street is one of those restaurants that operates on a higher level. the staff functions well and very professionally - the menu is creative and carefully set up to showcase the kitchen strengths. You could be in one of those expensive urban places if you closed your eyes. The atmosphere is more down to earth and suffers from the... More

The food is always tasty at this casual eatery. The servers seem to enjoy their jobs and make you feel like their most important guest. The atmosphere is warm, rustic and inviting. Please try the fried green tomato appetizer and the eggplant napoleon. My husband raves about their meatloaf with Cheerwine BBQ sauce. Good comfort food that makes my mouth... More

The wife and I were in Blowing Rock for the weekend. We ate here on Saturday 5/18/13 after spending a rainy day shopping. After eating at Bistro Roca on Friday night I was excited to come here. Inside is quaint, nothing fancy, no view, not much more than just being on the main strip in Blowing Rock. I had the... More

Visited this restaurant on our first night in Blowing Rock, a Tuesday night. Enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly waitress and yummy crab cake with grits and asparagus. Would definitely go back next time in Blowing Rock.

Stopped here for lunch on a rainy day in the mountains. The place was very busy but we didn't have to wait very long for a table. We had the pot roast and fried chicken breast lunch meals and they were tasty and hot. Excellent food for the price served by a gracious server. A very pleasant experience.

We took a break from shopping to have a drink and an appetizer. The food was good, the service was friendly and the place was clean.

Rainy cold day in the mountains..headed for our favorite stop for lunch. Cup of homemade soup and juicy fried chicken. Top that off with peach cobbler. My daughter loves the baked Brie and had the eggplant Napoleon ..so cozy and warm, the place was full by the time we left so you may have to wait.
