Sweet atmosphere with great food. Appetizer of fried mushrooms was huge - that needs to be shared. Outdoor seating available also. Menu is primarily salads, sandwiches, and a nice little wine list, too. (Of course, I was there for lunch, so the dinner menu may be different). Service is really terrific - a group of very nice and personable ladies... More

You can count on Black Mountain Bistro to deliver good food at a reasonable price. The service is good and the menu has a good variety of selections. The salads were great with fresh ingredients and the salad dressings are very pleasing.

A friend and I were in Black Mountain for a women's retreat and after scouring the charming shops of the mountain community on a cold and blustery February day decided to head for a restaurant for dinner. We decided on The Bistro and upon entering found a much welcomed warmth of not only atmosphere with its fireplace but with the... More

We had dinner at the Bistro last Saturday night with our daughter and her two house-mates who are all students at Warren Wilson College. We went up to visit and take some things she didn't have room for in her car from Christmas. We stopped first in Que Sera and were told that we could not get a table for... More

Decent menu, good service and very reasonable prices. A must visit if you're in town. It's especially nice when the weather is pleasant and you're able to sit outside. We always take our company here.

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch, looked over the menu and decided it was definitely worth trying. My husband ordered the Bourbon Trout and I ordered the entree crab cakes, both $18. Both of these items came with salads. The salads were very good. When our entrees came my husbands trout was so over done that the burnt skin... More

We have enjoyed the Black Mountain Bistro in Black Mountain, NC on several occasions while visiting in the area. The food is always delicious and we love the setting in the converted house which has much character and outside dining is divine in the Fall. As I had already had a glass of wine before we arrived there, the wacky... More

The setting of this restaurant with tables on a wrap around front porch is nice. The cuisine is southern and very appropriate. The staff is courteous. The setting is nice.

We were impressed with the entire beautiful town of Black Mountain nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and delighted with the great food at Black Mountain Bistro. They offer a lovely setting indoors or outside, and the place is 'squeaky clean'. The service was also great, despite it being a busy weekend. We will definitely dine here again when we... More
