This restaurant just does not disappoint. Great fresh wood fired pizza, imaginative combinations, fresh ingredients, and moderate prices. How can one go wrong? Fantastic pizzas, great tasting, with everything fresh. Moderate but very good wine list. Attentive, prompt service. Moderate pricing. No wonder they have a crowd, but they serve a lot of people fast. Go there, you will not... More

Though others in our party had eaten at Fresh before, it was my first time. It will definitely not be my last. The pizza was great as was the salad and the portions were generous. I was offered a "taste" of a beer I wanted to try and even it was great. They also had other delicious looking dishes. If... More

Another favourite spot of locals as we discovered. Casual atmosphere, good service and great pizza. Busy spot so you need to get there early!

Went for dinner with friends while staying in Black Mountain to visit The Biltmore Estate. We ordered salads and pizzas. The pizza was outstanding! Atmosphere very casual and friendly.

Most places offering gluten-free pizza are serving something bought and frozen (and very small). This wonderful place offers large, homemade-crust pizza with a wide variety of toppings. They have gluten-free pasta, as well! My family was in heaven. All the servings, gluten-free or otherwise, are very large, and many ingredients are fresh. Loved this place. Good service, too.

Yes, expect a wait - even at 8 PM (at least on a Friday). The food is fun - salad we had was great, and a half salad is enough for two. The pizza is good and fresh - you can watch it be made and backed. I thought the pasta was just OK, though. I'll stick with pizza in... More

My husband and I found this great restaurant on our first trip to Black Mountain and ate there twice during our weekend stay. Once for dinner and again for lunch the next day so we could try the meatball sub. Which was very good. For dinner we had bruschetta, a lovely fried goat cheese salad and pizza. My only complaint... The lines are long, the wait is well worth the food. Atmosphere rugged but definitely does not hinder one from going as the food is truly outstanding. Prices are very reasonable. Give it a try you will not be disappointed. The food was very fresh and there are many different options to try.

We stayed in Black Mountain for a week in March. The town has many restaurant options but we ended up eating here three times that week---we just loved it. We tried the gluten free pasta, entree salad and pizza. They were all delicious. The food was very fresh and the service friendly. They had many options for a "pizza place"... More

A local friend suggested Fresh to us and she was so correct! Everything was delicious and to top it off they offered gluten free pizza and pasta! Wonderful!
