As I usually say in most of my reviews, every one is entitled to their opinion. I do not doubt that this old established steak house sells prime meats, nor that their cooking skills are being challenged, but how bad can a $50 steak be? After all, you expect what you expect at that level, period. Our last visit early... More

We had dinner during restaurant week which we thought might impact the quality of the meal. That was not the case at all! The food was amazing, the filets tender, the garlic mashed potatoes delicious, as was the broccoli and creamed spinach (ordered a la carte). The desserts (cheesecake, chocolate mousse) were great as well. Both the iceberg and caesar... More

It should not be too difficult to have a nice steak and a few good sides. Morton's does this very well, but exceeds at the service that goes with the food. I have experienced two Maitre d's at this location and both have been outstanding. On one occasion, they printed custom menus to celebrate a special occasion. On all visits,... More

Steak is very good, but you expect a, $50 plus steak to be good. All ala carte. Want a potato another $7 or so. Salad. Bump it up again. We were seated in a rather pretentious booth, that the waiter had to slide tableoutt to get in the general slide back when seate . I looked up and there were... More

If you want a steak and you don't want any surprises, and if you have the bank roll to dine here, then you will not be disappointed. Their steaks are tender and juicy and perfectly cooked and prove the adage that everything tastes better with butter. Yes, that's right, they slather a pat of butter on the steak as it... More

The scallops starter featured some of the sweetest and best cooked scallops I've ever had. My 8oz fillet mignon was cooked perfectly. However, the creme brulee had obviously been prepared well in advance, so the sugar top was cold. Morton's is very expensive - certainly a high end steak house. The White Plains location is slightly curious - a little... More

I made the reservation to celebrate my fiance receiving of her medical license to practice within NY state. Upon our arrival, they asked us if we were here for a special occasion, when we told them what it was, they showed her a high level of respect, congratulated her numerous times and even gave us complimentary after dinner drinks. I... More

Pathetic waste of time and money sat down with reservations at 7:15, got served after 9:30 10 dinners - 4 good, 4 meh, 2 inedible two medium well steaks - one burnt to a crisp, the other almost raw Missed the doneness on all but two of the steaks - woefully inconsistent Service was awful, alternating between being physically obtrusive... Love the delicious food and service but its an odd windowless space inside a mini mall. I think that beyond the ambiance failures its an otherwise great service and food- definitely worth a visit for you to make your own impressions
