None of it will melt in your mouth, but you will be fed at a reasonable price, and fortified to continue riding over the island
Bakery items were nothing special, but clearly one of the few places to get breakfast on the island as it was packed at opening time. Hubby had the breakfast bacon and egg burger, which he described as simple, but tasty. Didn't have coffee from the bakery, ran to The Lane opposite the bakery for good drinks :)
Our family enjoyed a couple of visits to the bakery - once for lunch and the other for morning tea before boarding the boat home. On both occasions, the service was efficient even when there were larger queue's and the pies and cakes were enjoyed by all. The Apricot Slice was particularly good and our kids loved the muffin and... More
This is the most popular eating place on the island. Their food is delicious and freshness guaranteed. If you are buying a meal, get there early. Sit inside, the crows are aggressive.
Nothing gluten free unfortunately for me to try, but Dad loved his pies, $6:50 was a bit steep, but obviously worth it.
Lamb and rosemary pie was just what was needed after a half day cycling in 40km/hr winds. Great tasting pies and quick drinks. Watch out for gulls and quokkas if sitting outside.

For a quick breakfast treat, head into the bakery. They have a variety of choices and the staff are wonderful. It was our little girls birthday and they had small slices of chocolate and vanilla cake. Watch out for the quokkas as they try to get in the bakery too.
Great range of products available. I had a vegemite scroll daily with a coffee, & like others had a great pie experience. I thought I had missed out by arriving late, as others have previously mentioned; however they were baking a fresh batch of new pies & pasties, so got in the fresh ones. They do sandwiches etc for lunches,... More
We enjoyed the fresh sourdough bread and breakfast bacon and egg rolls. Everything's expensive on Rottnest but the Bakery offers quality food at reasonable prices.
