Travel south from Canada and had watched the Diners, Drive-Inns and Dives show about Pastabilities so planned to stop for dinner. Everything was wonderful...seated immediately, wait staff was great, Eric our waiter was terrific. Water glass kept full and bread and hot toma sauce were fantastic. We shared a ceasar salad and also tried the lasagna and manicotti...both fresh, tasty,... More

Busy and bustling is the only way to describe Pastabilities this past Saturday evening. We waited nearly an hour to be seated but enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar first. Of course, we love the hot oil tomato sauce and stretch bread, but it's so hard to stop at one piece. We shared Chicken Piccata and homemade fettucini... More

Walked in without a reservation at the busiest time of night. Waited about an hour which was fine with me and my friends as we just hung at the bar. Well worth the wait. All 4 of us had great meals and the sauce with the bread is awesome. Good vibe, good atmosphere.

Up North for my few weeks again, so I had to take the short drive from my camp in Sandy Creek down to Syracuse's Pastabilities. I have to admit this wasn't my first time there so I kind of knew what to expect - greatness. The home made bread and marinara dipping sauce could be a meal. The sauce has... More

Just like everyone else, I had to try to Spicy Hot |Tomato Oil sauce with Penne Siracusana. with eggplant-herb-tomato ragù, Parmigiano-Reggiano, EXCELLENT. The prices are quite reasonable and enjoyed the setting. We got the early at 5 and the place was rocking by 6. Only complaint was our server. She really wasn't very pleasant. The guy that keep filling our... More

Food was good, once you figure out how it works, food was good. My husband said there were some graphic paintings in the bathroom and other suggestive decor, fortunately, kids didn't notice. Not the best place for kids. A little pricey for lunch.

This is on of my favorite restaurants in Syracuse. The spicy hot tomato oil, while not that spicy is very good with their outstanding bread. I also noticed that this restaurant has been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. The lunches are good too, however be prepared to wait a while.

We saw this restaurant on Diner's, Drive ins, and Dives and decided to go. We got there at 5:45 on a Friday evening and were told that there was a 45 minute wait. It was almost exactly 45 minutes later that we were seated. Our server was slow to get to our table and after we were served we rarely... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you and your wife enjoyed your meals (despite the surprisingly spicy Wicked Chicken Riggies), but we also realize that the experience of good food is wasted if not accompanied by good service. We apologize for the disappointment of the service you received and we will send you a personal... More

We were treated to a marvellous meal at this restaurant. The surroundings are great. It didn't seem too crowded or noisy. We had a reservation so there was no wait. Excellent friendly service from our waiter, who was patient and gave use plenty time to choose. He also gave us extensive advice when we asked. Portions were very generous and... More

Nice location and atmosphere. I generally hate pasta places because it is so overpriced for pasta...which costs next to nothing! However, I had some of their homemade linguini which was awesome. I hate to sound like a broken record (like all other reviews), but the spicy tomato sauce really is ridiculously amazing. Will most certainly revisit!

Glad you were able to enjoy some of our homemade linguine! Please come back again to try some homemade fettuccine or other homemade pasta. If you feel the urge to have more Spicy Hot Tomato Oil and can't make it back to Syracuse, you can always purchase some at HotTom.com. We look forward to seeing you again! More
