Great food, great people with inexpensive and diverse menu. I'm in love with they're home made Italian dressing on their Cobb salad.

I have been going here for over 25 years and every time I go it is wonderful. I love there homemade chicken rice soup served only on the weekends and if you like Thousand Island dressing than your not going to get any better. I've had just about everything on the menu and there wasn't anything I didn't like. So...

I'm a big lover of diners and dives, so my hopes were high when this restaurant/diner came out rated third for comfort food in the capital district of New York (Albany area), according to the latest issue of Capital Living magazine.
The place is large and the atmosphere is comfortable, with 1970s style faux Tiffany lamps hanging over booths and...

It's a cross between a diner and a casual restaurant. The prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for.
I have been coming here for a long time and absolutely love it! The eggs are never watery like some diners, and they make their muffins on premises and the blueberry ones are too die for when grilled up and buttered! I always hate it when we have to go somewhere closer in proximity!
A huge menu, quick service, quality food, inexpensive prices. What more would you want? My wife and I were driving through Schenectady and called ahead for lunch to go. It was waiting for us when we zipped in and out. I'd love to go back and sample more from their extensive menu!
We went to Blue Ribbon as a family and friends group, for Saturday Breakfast. Tables were available, even with a full parking lot, service was fast friendly and effecient, and the food exactly what I'd expect for a big diner-style restaurant. Eggs, pancakes, homefries, coffee; all the usual suspects.
Our waitress was GOOD. Fast, properly friendly without feeling pushy, and...

I've been to the blue ribbon a few times and I have never been let down. The food is tasty- the chicken parm is fantastic, and I always get cheesecake. Very reasonable, and nice atmosphere.
A Schenectady native, I've been going to Blue Ribbon for dozens of years, and their tradition of excellence has never changed. I still go there several times a week, and feel like family.
Some of the highlights are their great variety of food, and prompt, friendly service, and the offering of both soup and salad with meals.
The young, third...

Their dessert is some of the best I've had- I mean I LOVE their cheesecake, carrot cake, you name it. For that, they get five stars. Unfortunately, I also ordered lunch there and for that they get zero stars, so I met in the middle at 3. I asked what kinds of soup they had, after specifing that I was...
