We waited 40 minutes WITH a reservation. I was always under the impression this was a nice pizza and pasta restaurant. The bread served was almost hard and the butter was prepackaged (not even prepared in house). There was no oil or herbs for dipping. Nice alternative Italian menu. Pasta Bolognase is excellent as are the pizzas. Haven't ever gotten past them on the menu. Nice location in the East End.

My companion had the pasta...

I love Veneto. The food is always good. Its not a big place, but you can sit at the bar and watch the chefs. The food is reasonably priced and the portions are HUGE. Its more casual than Tony D's. Quieter and easier too.

A waiter coming out the door to wait on an outside table welcomed us and told us someone would seat us inside. Our server provided quick,...
