I'm a big fan of the Cactus Grill & Cantina. They have the best margaritas I've ever had at any restaurant (and I've tried many!) The margaritas are pretty tasty (the best you can get in Potsdam, easily) but the food is just...okay. The bottom line is if you come to this restaurant with the intention of drinking your face off and eating a ton of nachos, you're going to have a great night. Had frequented Cactus when in college at the turn of the century.. ha ha. 8 yrs later still the same. Chips and salsa on the table as soon as your server comes, great (STRONG) margaritas, and very decent Mexican food, esp for the money. Atmosphere is cute and the old building is so neat.
