Liked the food and service, very friendly waiter. The meal was priced what you would expect to pay in a resort during prime season and the menu was somewhat limited.

I was very lucky to have found this treasure. It was simply amazing. Me and my two friends wanted to try something different yet opulent. This place hit the mark. It was amazing food, presentation, taste, atmosphere, and service. We sat on the back porch and had a amazing dinner. I had a pear salad, It was a amazing party...

There's nothing like this place, anywhere near this place, so this must be the place. A wide variety of excellent dishes in a gorgeous, artfully restored victorian mansion on Main Street in Old Forge. Wrap around dining porch, intimate dining room, and a dining deck at the rear. And the bar: A nice, warm day put and the bistro setting...

I was fortunate to be in Old Forge for an extended period of time. I say 'fortunate' in the sense a large part of that time was spent at Sisters Bistro. I ate no less than 20 meals there and tried nearly everything on the menu. From my perspective, every dish I tried was simply superb. One evening, my server...

We have been to the bistro many times since they have opened and generally find it to be consistently very good. The new chef is personable and we have enjoyed the menu changes with one exception. The portion sizes have shrunk from tapas to amuse bouche and it is not a welcome change. The fare is a mix of local...

I am always in the search of good food made with fresh ingredients. Sisters Bistro definately has that covered. The food is excellent, very tasty, and either comes out of their garden or from local farms. I only have 1 problem with this restaurant. The portions are extremely small. I have eaten at many restaurants from Maine to Montana and...

Looking for fresh good food? Go to Sisters on Main St. The food is very well prepared and tastes wonderful. BUT the service is very, very slow and everything is ala carte. Good wine selection just prepare yourself to wait.
Old Victorian home of the late Dr. Steward Nelson has been given another life in Old Forge. To say the meals were fresh just doesn't do it justice...fresh with class, presentation, atmosphere, quaintness, friendly staff and owners...not to mention the beautiful garden in the back and many, many pots of herbs growing on the outside. Can't say enough good things...

The real star at Sisters Bistro is the chef, who prepared meals so delightful and fresh we were quite taken aback, having never had a lunch of quite this caliber in Old Forge, where things are generally on the downscale side. On a sunny but cool August afternoon we found ourselves on the small but charming back porch of Sisters,...

What a find this place was. Whether you are sitting inside or outside, you feel comfortable and welcomed. Our waiter, Kyle, was top notch and knew everything about the food, wines and area. Both sisters came to check on us asking how we were enjoying our meal, as did the chef. His food was amazing, the only problem is that...
