Location is perfect in Kendwa, just on the beautiful beach. Pizza is delicious, especially compared to many other Zanzibar places. Sushi is also well eatable. The rest average. The service is slowish but enough fast at least in the low season. A good option for quick filling of stomache, especially if you fall out of official Zanzibar lunch hours (12.30-15). More

everybody in Zanz has ever been to Kendwa rocks. it's smth like a centre of mzungu (they call us so, translate -"white") hangout. there is a beautiful white sand beach, deep blue clear ocean in the morning and noisy funny parties at night. there are hundreds of people every weekend so of course the opportunity not to carry about clients... Our group was staying in Stonetown and came north to Kendwa Beach for snorkelling. We ate lunch at this place and the food took 56 minutes to get to us. We were 3 people and the waiter did not ever care. We told them the food was cold and they did not do anything about it.Overall not so good food... More

The restaurant at Kendwa Rocks serves decent food, but the staff is generally unhelpful or tries to ignore you. One member of our group also got food poisoned after eating there. If you go 100 meters further north from Kendwa Rocks, there's a decent restaurant at the beach. More

We didnt stay at kendwa, but if the restaurant + staff are anything to go by, it was totally crap. They don't treat their customers well at all, on christmas day, they had a big "buffet" but gave the whole restuarant plastic knives and forks, and when buying a drink, wouldnt give us change in money, but in vouchers! More
