I love the simple (not over done) decor. The seafood was tender and fresh.

Fresh from the market excellent quality, well prepared seafood in new paltz. The chef is a CIA graduate. Soups include a Thai inspired fish chowder which s nicely seasoned

Food was very good, service very good, simple decor, just a little cold in room.

An old landmark that just doesn't cut it any more. Sorry.

Amazing selection of fresh fish, well prepared. Pleasant place with friendly servers.

Seems the portions are smaller yet. No more olives and dip with the bread. Fish has always been the freshest, the best. Portions were always on the small side but now it's getting ridiculous. A shame because we liked this place for the ultra fresh fish. Now prices are high for the amount of food on your plate!

Great seafood! Never had a bad meal there... the ambience and service are also great. Prices are a bit steep for new paltz but worth it

just go . They are amazing and have more choices than any place I have ever been.
They actually have a blackboard where the fish is listed under "sweet" "mild" "strong"
etc. But what a giant selection. I had a hard time deciding. It was so fresh! The server knew about every choice too. Nice touch.!

Gadaleto's is one of my favorite places to eat in New Paltz. The new chef has always got great specials. This weekend we had Mother's Milk Clam Fritters (made with Keegan Ale's Mother's Milk - from Kingston - yay local support!) - delicious. There's always a huge variety of fish to choose from and the staff is great. Go there....
