Came here for a birthday celebration with family that were in Montauk for the day in late august. We were looking for great clam chowder, but this place serves great drinks and amazing seafood, as well as non-seafood options too for those who won't eat seafood. Everything was wonderful! More

July 23, 2011. We wanted casual dining near the docks where they bring fresh seafood in everyday. The Cosseyed Clam is such a place. We had the New England clam chowder since this is my gauge on how good the food is in any seafood restaurant and it was very good. It had a good thickness and filled with clams.... More

Seven of us, including children were served a variety of seafood dishes, all delicious and reasonably priced. Great service by our waitress. We'll go back! More

The Cross Eyed Clam is on the harbor in Montauk. I've been there several times now. I recommend the Fried Scallops and whole belly Fried Clams. They changed the Calamari this year (thankfully) and it's now one my favorites. The New England Clam Chowder was very good. They also have great burgers with Kobe beef mixed in there. You can... We found the Cross Eyed Clam after attempting to eat out on a Saturday night with 8 people (four kids) without a reservation. Definitely a welcomed surprise. No wait, great food, fair prices, big portions and very good service. We had the lobster roll which was one of the best we've ever had. If you're looking for fancy ambiance, this... More

this was our first visit to Cross Eyed Clam and we completely enjoyed the food. Clams were great and the Monday (All you can eat) BBQ consisting of ribs and wings were very good. We had 3 orders and were more than satisfied. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We expect to return very soon. Every night is a... More

Probably the worst meal I've had in a long time. The drinks were made poorly. We were in & out within 30 minutes! The food was not made fresh it must have been sitting there in the kitchen waiting for it's next victim. The fried clams were gross.( I have no idea what type of clams they were & neither... More

We checked our records and no such order for the all the food items described in this review was ever placed place in the prior 30 days since this posting - We opened for business on July 1, 2010. Our bar manager has extensive corporate bar management experience, so it is highly unlikely that a drink was made poorly. In... More

The food, staff and atmosphere were all top notch. The waitress and bar tender treated us with a smile and the chef even came out to say hello and see how our lunch was. Nothing short of an awesome experience! A must for anyone who visits Montauk. More
