This was my first time at Lola's. We read good reviews so were looking forward to having dinner there. Big sign outside indicating 3 course dinner special for $20.13 But as soon as we were seated there was a sign at the table indicating that because it was the beginning of Long Island restaurant week they were not offering the... Lola's is a good fun place. I have no complaint with it. Service was okay. We went on a Saturday night with reservations and the staff seemed strained to keep up but they were very nice and seemed to try their best ! It was loud. Add a star if you like loud music during dinner. Add another star if... More

My husband and I drove from Brooklyn to take our two teenage daughters to Lola's this evening for dinner and we had an exceptional time. We didn't have reservations so they seated us in easy chairs around a low coffee table in the front not to far from the bar. The bar had the type of potted palms that fan... More

HAd the pleasure of stopping in recently with a friend, surprised once I walk in to the open feel and comfortable atmosphere , recessed seating areas off bar make hit a homey feel. Food was delicious and hot. I a new customer for good.....

Very good food, not necessarily great food, but this isn't NYC.   We enjoy going to Lola's,  except it frequently takes 'forever' for dinner to arrive at our table..and I end up eating zillions of corn chip calories.  The corn chips are placed on the table with a variety of tasty sauces instead of bread and butter.   On  one... Went to Lola's for our wedding anniversary dinner on a Wednesday evening. We sat outside for dinner, mostly because thats where we wanted to be, but also because the interior of the restaurant seemed to have a slight odor. I noticed the same thing the last time I was there when I sat at the bar for drinks. Nothing too... More

It has been a long time since I went out for dinner and drinks with friends and spent $25 for everything. Lola's, located on the corner of Magnolia Blvd. and Park Avenue in Long Beach, offered a charming dining scene, delicious food and phenomenal prices. Those in our group enjoyed steak, St. Peter's fish and the grilled portobello stack and... More
