Visited in April 2012 with friends over brunch. Let me tell ya: this place rocks! The brunch menu is full of Austrian favorites from goulash to sausages to eggs with bernaise sauce and smoked pork. Service is fast and attentive. Locale is stunning! Beautiful view over Seneca Lake and close by Wagner Vineyards! Chef Dano (an Ukrainian-Austrian chef) will come... More

Have never missed a Sunday dinner in out last 8 trips. The use of local and farm raised products makes for wonderful food and yummy deserts. Dano does a deligtful Roast Pork or Wiener Schnitzel with a side of spatzel and brazed red cabbage. Karen's Bread Pudding and Strudel puts the finishing touches to once of the best meals on... More

We just returned from brunch at Dano's and I have to say that it was one of the best that we've ever had. We try to dine at Dano's at least a few times a year, and it's always a treat. This was our first (of many) brunch there. My husband had the French toast and I had the eggs... More

Great and unusual food. A tapas like presentation with a view worth the trip. More

My friends and I visited the Finger Lakes and wanted to have a nice dinner. Based on the reviews, we tried Dano's. Let me preface this by saying that we are a laidback group who enjoy going out to have a good time. We are not food snobs or a high-maintainece bunch. With Dano's, we should have gotten the hint... Lovely food and perfect setting -- the soup (blue hubbard with vanilla beans) was outstanding! More

Although we have eaten here at least a dozen times, Danos never fails to impress. From the elegant euro-decor, to the top-notch and friendly staff, not to mention the fantastic and unique food, Danos is a treasure in the Finger Lakes. The menu leans heavily to Austrian-style foods, (sausages, pork, etc.) and is ordered by the plate, similiar to tapas.... More

If you want to go for a drive or are wine tasting, stop in at Dano's. It's one of the most interesting dining experiences around. You can pick and choose from a number of different small plates, meals and sides to tailor the meal to your liking. The view is great and the dining room is unique. In the summer... More

This is truly a gem of the finger lakes. My parents request this restaurant every year for their anniversary. If you have 8 people try the captain's table, you get a little of everything!! But save room for dessert, everything is homemade!!The hardest decision is which dessert to choose! Sometimes just a glass of wine, their pates and breadbasket are... More
