I don't like to write bad reviews in general but after seeing all the 5 star reviews I had to try it out , first of all the place looks dumpy on the outside and it sure is dumpy on the inside , food was ok kk .. Service. Friendly. But come on 5 star. Excellent. One of the best... More

Loved the eclectic nature of this place (not fancy, but REAL) - we were the first customers the morning we dropped by and we snagged the great table in the window to look out on Kingston and eat huevos rancheros and breakfast burritos. Both were top-notch. The coffee exceeded our expectations and the complimentary scone Gabriel gifted us with tasted... More

Gabriel's is most definitely my favorite restaurant in Kingston. I love the huevos rancheros and the croissants are probably the best I have tasted in America. Cute decor, with what seems to be a rotating photography exhibition, and the staff is personable and efficient. Very competitively priced as well! More

We went here today passing through after having read about it on the Trip Advisor app. We were not disappointed. It's an unobtrusive place, quite simple decor, rustic: my husband said it reminded him of an eatery in Uruguay where we once travelled, and indeed, the cook appears to be Latin American. All the food we ordered had this totally... More

This place is clearly being reviewed by family members or friends of the owner. This place is a joke. I ordered the cowboy skillet which was stated in the menu of egg over homefries and sautéed onions. The egg covered with Chedder and grilled chicken. When I received the meal, I noticed it wasnt homefries under my egg but French... More

Went to Gabriels to check out their croissants that I have heard so many amazing raves about, only to find out that this time of year they are available weekends only. So I tried the empanadas instead... talk about melt-in-your-mouth fabulous! Best I have ever tasted anywhere...judging from the menu I could be very happy there! I can't wait to... More

Gabriel's is well loved for breakfast & lunch by many & it's easy to understand why. Their scones, empanadas, juevos rancheros, & fresh hot croissants @ the Saturday farmers' market are spectacular, just to name a few. What a lot of people don't know is that on Friday & Saturday they serve dinner. We enjoy it so much as it... More

I live in Kingston and eat at Gabriel's every Saturday. And I have them cater our workshop lunches because the delicious and inventive lunches make us look good. The atmosphere is very casual which belies the masterful cooking of Gabriel Vasquez and Susan Dixon. The food is very fresh. The dishes are cooked from scratch, which means there can be... More

Gabriels is a small eclectic casual cafe' just off Wall St. in Kingston, NY. The food is outstanding, the service is good and the owners and staff are what really set this place apart. You feel like you are part of the family. You feel like you have stepped back in time and are in a South American or Europeon... More

This place is scary good! Where should I start? Extremely high quality food, with both classics and creative dishes. The french toast redefines the genre and the breakfast burrito is one of my personal favorites. The empanadas are famous, from chicken and vegetable to apple/blueberry and guava/cheese (killer). I love seeing peoples faces when they get their first salmon sandwich,... More
