We went to the Glen Loch for Mother's Day Brunch. We had reservations and were seated upstairs where it was hot and stuffy. I noticed immediately that the white linens that the buffet was on were filthy. They were covered with slopped and spilled food. The "clean" plates were dirty and some even stuck together. The food was horrible for... More

Our family returned to the Glen loch for Mother's Day brunch after having gone for Easter. Upon entering the first thing we noticed was new carpet had been installed in the restaurant since our previous visit. It really brightened up the place. We were seated in the main dining room, and as we entered we noticed the carpet had been... More

If you like cold food that is supposed to be hot, coffee served cold, roast beef that is like chewing on rubber, cold spaghetti, cold meat balls, then by all means go here. Otherwise, save your money and stay home. This place is terrible.

Our family attended this years brunch at the Glen Loch. There were 8 of us, a 1:30 seat time. We're we seated promptly and directed to make our way to the buffet line at our own leisure. The food was great, with the favorite being the lobster bisque and of course - the prime rib. The deserts left a little... More

We've been going to this restaurant - or maybe I should say - we've GONE to this restaurant many years and celebrated many occasions there with fond memories. I know exactly when new management started because someone put the brakes on how many items were offered for brunch, the quality of the food and portion size. Staff has told us... More

The only thing I can equate this disastrous brunch to is a Hotel Breakfast. We've been going for years and years and they've downsized and removed a lot of the luxury items we used to love going there for! Back then it wasn't over priced, now...WAY OVERPRICED. The staff was rude (told us to "keep your silverware incase you have... More

Absolutely delicious appetizers and entrees at this long standing etablishment. Service was attentive and professional. Warm freshly baked rolls and a tasty apple crisp rounded out our dining experience in front of the beautiful fireplace. Stuffed pork chop and risotto appetizer is to die for......without a doubt...the best in CNY! Would recommend this chef managed Retaurant to locals and CNY... More

The Glen Loch, situated in nineteenth-century former mill with a view of a picturesque water wheel, has been a Syracuse, NY metropolitan area landmark for decades, and my husband and I had attended dinners, a brunch, and a wedding at this establishment. But in recent years the décor had become dated and tired and the menu uninspired, and we hadn’t... More
