I love sumo, the food is so good! I recommend the rice and yummy yummy sauce. So delightful! Service is normally good. Very nice inside aswell.
My daughter chose this restaurant for dinner the evening before IC's commencements. It is located out by the mall, but worth the drive. The restaurant is clean and modern. We had reservations for hibachi, but one member of our party ordered off the menu. The chef was funny and personable. The hibachi cooked food was delicious and everyone enjoyed the... More
Sumo is close to my work and many of my coworkers love going to Sumo. When our company has guest or out of town clients they choose Sumo and they are never disappointed. The service is always good and the food is excellent!
Sumo is in the Cayuga Mall. The Cayuga Mall is going through a Major Upgrade. Sumo has a very upscale look. We stopped in on a Wednesday night and there was a good number of Guest. There is a Bar, Dining Room, Private Dining Room, and Separate Hibachi Area. We chose the Hibachi area that had several Hibachi Stations. Each... More
We had a lunch gathering at Sumo in Ithaca today. Staff was very nice and helpful. Hibachi chef was great! Food was wonderful! Give it a try!

Drinks-- scotch and martinis-- were robust, which may have helped, but I really liked the different tastes. Then, about a month later I did take out ,... More
