Last minute find in Geneva. Nice location downtown. Crab cakes and the house salad were delicious, and my husband loved the special with shrimp and scallops (he said they were the best scallops he had ever had). You should go, it was awesome!

Nice looking restaurant and the service was great, but the food was terrible. The salad had way too much dressing. I ordered bologenese and it came with some strange curly pasta that had been over cooked. What little sauce there was, was very thin and sweet. A pool of water was in the bottom of the plate. I sent the...

In a small town bar scene this is a wonderful place to go for a nice dinner for two! Had the crab cakes for appetizer and the salmon for dinner. Delicious! They made a nice gin martini with the 3 olives I asked for. Dark, quiet, good food and the smell of the wood fire (for pizza) added to an...

We completed a day of wine tastings at Halsey's. We asked for a table upstairs which was quiet and romantic. The crab cakes are so good they are reminiscent of one's we at at Bayona in New Orleans. Crispy on the outside with large lumps of sweet crab meat with a spicy remoulade. I had the vegetable lasagna and my...

After a day traveling the wineries - Halsey's came recommended for dinner. A Saturday evening, with no reservations - we sat at the bar, and ended up ordering drinks & our meals from there. It worked out wonderfully.
The special drink (a pear tini of sorts I think) was mixed to perfection.
The best part - I've had crab cakes...

We went to Halsey's on a recent week-end trip to Geneva and area. The atmosphere was lovely and we enjoyed the decor. The old building has been restored beautifully. Halsey's is a hopping restaurant in Geneva. A reservation is required on the weekends. I went with my son who is in Geneva for college. Our meal was fabulous. It is a little pricey.
We had a one night stay in Geneva and found some positive reviews on TripAdvisor for this place and decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. We had the short ribs with sweet potato pure as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious, so good I wish they had it as a main dish. I got the house...
