We ate at the bar and watched a Red Sox game. The bartender was perfect- attentive and friendly. Dinner was amazing and by the time we made it to dessert, it was like we were among old friends. Great place. We will visit again!

We have been to FVI many times over mostly enjoying their wings and soups at the bar. recently we were on a search for a good fish fry. Unfortunately we did not hit the mark here. The fish was awful, very bland and the batter was even worse. So very disappointed indeed. AS many have said, the dining area is...

Ate at the Fairport village inn ordering the Prime-Rib. Very nice cut not very fatty at all. I was very impressed with the service. It was a Thursday around 5pm. Went back the following week ordered the same meal. I can give the prime rib dinner a thumbs up. Maybe I will order something different next time
Have eaten there twice before, seems to be going down hill. Seems the servings are a little stingy. The steak I had was just ok. Went there for a late dinner, lunch seems the best time to go, if you do go. A few of the bar patrons were being loud, made it hard to have a conversation
The place is cramped, noisey and expensive. The food was very poorly prepared, some of it not able to be eaten. Without question the worst experience in years.
Fairport Village Inn is a mainstay in Fairport. I've mostly visited for lunch, but the food and service are always good.
We had been here a few times over the past few years and continually been unimpressed. Seating is cramped and crowded, people walking by and bumping you while you try to eat, servings are getting quite small and not all that great in taste and presentaion.Very noisy as well making conversations difficult. Best part is our server had a good...

Been going her for years and always get great food. Chicken french is juicy and choice of sides are plenty. Their shrimp cocktail is always crisp and delicious.

Entering you come into the bar area which was fully of locals, mainly older people, just socializing over a brew. One customer told us that dinner started...
