My favorite spot for an evening ice cream treat. I am a huge fan of Pistachio Ice Cream and they have the best, as well as a wide variety of flavor both Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt.

Ice cream mavens will love it . Every imaginable flavor under the sun, and sorbets too. Bring lots of $$$$ and your patience to wait on line

I saw Scoop du Jour in the NY Times under the Hamptons section and it did not disappoint! It was just the thing for a hot summer's day!

Sure, Baskin and Robbins, as far as ice cream goes, is similar, but this is was more fun. During the day, they have huge cupcakes, doughnuts and other baked goods to choose from. I had nothing other than the ice cream at night, but there are other things there. I had Cake Batter, which was fine. Certainly Ben & Jerry's... More

Not much seating, the space isn't designed to sit and eat, just order and go, a little under staffed for the summer, and the ice cream was average. But I did go twice because it's convenient and well located in town, and I'm not sure if there are better options around.

Such a shame that this is one of the only ice cream spots in east hampton... I wish it were more homemade tasting. It was just OK, and not worth the calories actually.

Best bacon egg & cheese or Sausage egg & cheese on a hard roll in town ! The donuts are ok but if they are hot they are FANTASTIC ! My wish would be they would make the donuts all day rather than pre make too many donuts early in the morning.

So many choices. Always crowded. Worth the wait. Can't wait for the next trip.

After seeing the Giada Hampton's episode, I made a mental note to visit Scoop at the next available oppurtunity. I love to sample ice cream from the authentic "mom and pop" stores, and my chinchilla Hans enjoys homemade donuts (with Tab, not easy to find). So... homemade donuts AND ice cream together made the journey a no-brainer! A business oppurtunity... More

...and I lived in East Hampton for 2 years! So I went more than once! Scoop du Jour is the place where you go at lunch time, looking for a sandwich and finding greasy grilled cheese sandwiches, quesadillas and eggs with bacon on rye... The people behind the counter are...not very clean, not to say disgusting. The hygiene in Scoop... More

I was disappointed with your review of our shop. We hold our employees to the highest personal hygiene standards, if you found anything improper you could have asked to speak to me or our General Mgr. in my absence. Also please note that while in food most things are a matter of personal taste and everyone is entitled to their... More
