Thank goodness a restaurant took over this wonderful long-empty restaurant building. I'm sure it's a better location for Lambert's than where they were for years. Lunch was lovely and delicious with one exception: the "roasted" beet salad seemed pretty canned to me. I'd go back, but I'd ask more questions.

We stopped in the upstairs Treehouse Lounge at Lambert's recently, for a glass of wine and a snack. While the menu doesn't specify any vegan options, we did spot tacos and risotto that could be made without animal ingredients. We also discovered that the chef prepares at least one vegetarian special daily, which can often be veganized. We went for... More

Lambert's is fine dining (for Taos). The new building is beautifully southwestern. The staff was very attentive and the food excellent. We tried to return on a Wednesday night at 6:15 but couldn't get in with out a reservation.

What pleasant surprise on our day trip to Taos, while visiting Santa Fe. Our food was perfect and the service was attentive. The menu is very intersting and ahs many New Mexican twists and favorites, which were fun to try. We ordered the house made (ice cream) Root Beer Float fro dessert, but it really didn't stand up to the... More

Have now had lunch twice at Lambert's new location on Bent St, former site of the Apple Tree restaurant. Enjoyed both visits. Got to give these guys a plus on presentation. The five plates I've seen all looked incredibly appetizing. Portions aren't huge, but just right. Loved the beet salad. The hamburger was outstanding. To be picky, the lobster sandwich... More

We called last minute on Friday night. They could take us in a half hour, at 7:30! What luck! We arrived & were seated right away. My fiancée had been lamenting earlier in the day when we passed the old location, which was obviously deserted, and he wondered where we would get a good meal. Now, here we are at... More

Wanted a great lunch spot in Taos and came across Lambert's - right off the main downtown area - we found it! I guess they have recently moved into their new spot which is very comfortable. The service was great! You cannot beat the Lobster Grilled Cheese! It was so delicious and had a ton of lobster meat. I had... More

I had wanted to go to Lambert's for a long, long time. Finally got there last fall. Wow, I think I could eat here every night! Our party ordered several dishes and kind of shared. I had a most wonderful steak that was on special. We enjoyed several appetizers, wines and I have to say, the Sazerac cocktails are the... More

We were so happy to see Lambert's move into the old Apple Tree. They are now open for lunch, and they have many of the old Apple Tree menu items (mango enchiladas anyone?). The food was good, service was great, and the new-old digs are cozy and comfortable. Prices are reasonable, with generous portions. Best wishes Lambert's!!!

It's been a while since we posted a review of this Taos fine dining establishment, but since they've moved into new digs in the heart of the Historic District, we had to let everyone know that Lambert's is even more fantastic than ever in the old Apple Tree location. Professional, elegant yet casual, firing on all cylinders and always comfortable... More
