Food was surprisingly fresh and good. Nice spot to stop for a late night meal after a long day on the road. Clean and well run, tasty food and many options.

My wife and I did a four states in four days trip over Thanksgiving--really not that rushed when you live not too far from the Four Corners. A couple who lives in Farmington that we met as the fill-in hosts at a B&B in Silverton, CO, recommended Mikasa. Before we left on our trip, I had printed out the first... More

We arrived on a Sunday evening around 645pm, they close at 930pm on Sundays. We were greeted right away and seated. Every staff member was welcoming with smiles. And yes, WE TAKE SMILES. I was concerned at first because I don't eat seafood and what a variety of seafood they have. We ordered the oridinary dishes like beef & broccoli,... More

Excellent rolls. Try the hibachi bowl. This restaurant is ranked tenth in farmington right now but that's wrong. I would rank it third in town. Outback doesn't belong at the top of the rankings.

We arrived at Mikasa at 8:45 pm. We were the only guests. As soon as we were seated a lady started to clean the floor next to our table. The smell of detergents was unpleasant but she didn't stop cleaning when our food came to the table. The Patai was cooked with fish oil and was the most disgusting thing... More

They are ridiculously expensive. If you want to make any changes, like say substitute one type of sushi for another on a combo, they won't tell you outright but there is a 1.50 charge for each change. The lunch menu, however, is quite reasonable. The food is pretty good and the service usually is, too.

The servings were large! The waitress did not have much to offer while making selections which may have prevented us from ordering so much. I had the tempura shrimp and vegetable appetizer which was ok. The shrimp had a panko breading, not tempura, and the vegetables were more like a beer batter. My entrée was a shrimp roll. Not very... Best Sushi in Farmington; then again, we're in the middle of the desert. For where we're at... the sushi is great (I've have eaten sushi in California, Hawaii, and Japan). The staff are friendly and attentive. The location is on a main street which can make parking a hassle if the restaurant is full. It's not a place for a... More

I really enjoy cold premium sake with my sushi. They don't offer it. I don't think they have beer but I am not sure. The Sushi was good and they specialize in fancy rolls which were good. For the food only, they were very good.
