This tavern is the only commercial enterprise between Raton and Cimarron, a distance of about 40 miles. The pizza is the best in the entire county, the beer selection is great, and the food has gotten better because of the cook shack added a couple of years ago. On our recent visit to Cimarron, NM, we were able to eat a meal at Colfax Tavern "Cold Beer" during spaghetti night. This small tavern is not a tourist trap by any means, and we felt very welcomed.
