I have been to Texas and savor end the excellent steaks and ribs and barbecue there. My favorite before was Heitmiller's Steakhouse! Guess what? If you ever visit Subic Bay, Freeport Zone in Olongapo, you can get a taste of genuine Texas Steaks and Ribs right here in the Philippines! We have visited the place every time we go to... More

Really friendly steak and ribs place that stands out amongst the ageing herd of businesses on Waterfront Road. The restaurant has a friendly and talkative vibe with a nice buzz going on. The staff were wearing cowboy boots and hats (Yee haw!) and there was even an old black and white western playing (with sound off). The food is good... More

We visited about a week ago along with our extended family (13 altogether) and we were accommodate very quickly. So many times we have dropped in with many people in our party and we have always had no problem being seated together. The food is always great. I can't remember ordering anything that wasn't good. This is the main reason... More

The food tastes great! The meat was so tasty and tender. The sauce choices are good too! Big servings! I was amazed on how big the 'small' portion was! Its was already good for sharing :) i enjoyed my meal there and would definitely come back.

I will never forget how the manager and supervisor (Ria) of this restaurant treated us...VERRRYYY RUDELYYYY! Seeing such nice ambiance for our guests, we immediately pre-ordered and booked for 30 pax in their private room. Even during the start of our conversation, Ria was already not very accommodating of our requests but we pushed through. A day before our event,... More

My goodness... when I read your review I was stunned. Our restaurant is well-known for it's great service and tasty food. What could have happened to make you so unhappy? At first glance, frankly, I was surprised that we were able to serve you at all, having 100 people show up unexpectedly on a busy afternoon. I can see that... More

We were here just last week with my officemates for a dinner. The setting of the area is really like you're in the western part! With all those wooden furnitures, country music, old western movies, Cowboy/Indian decorations, wooden horses and servers in cowboy suits. Servers are very friendly and give us quality service. The food is great! We ordered one... More

I live in Manila and get up to Subic Twice a year. A feature for me on every trip, is to eat out at Texas Joe's. My wife and kids love it. Some of the best ribs in the country with 3 BBQ's sauce to match. The side dishes are also top notch. Love the cole slaw, the baked beans,... More

We went here on our first night. The setting is amazing, really felt I was in a restaurant in Texas, plus the free pool was great. The food was really tasty. I had the Easter special, ribs, chicken, corn and rice... The ribs were special, never tasted ones so good, and the BBQ sauce was great. We all really enjoyed.

To get it out of the way: the serving of their baby back ribs is pretty small, so don't expect much. I like baby back ribs (Outback, Tony Romas) but Texas Joe's disappoint me on the serving. Other than that I've no other issues. The quesadillas are flavorful and the sour cream is a good touch. Their selection of barbecue... More

Hello isateresa: Thank you for visiting Texas Joe's. Maybe you can send me an email and tell me exactly what you ordered. Was it a 1/2 rack of Baby Back Ribs? It has been my experience that when ordering Baby Back Ribs at Tony Romas, they serve "spare ribs" which are a very different product. Spare Ribs are often confused... More
