The food at this restaurant is very good, pizza is delicious, but the real draw for this BYOB restaurant is the ambience. Very relaxing and the waiters do not rush you, however, seem to anticipate your needs. My two recommendations for this restaurant are: serve salad w/ entrée (pasta entree averages $20), and put grated cheese on the table or... More

Service is friendly and efficient but IMO the food is just average, and the high prices are not justified More

The atmosphere is delightful. love the sound of the fountain. The service is excellent. This is a upscale restaurant but they are friendly to kids which is nice for our family. The food most importantly is delicious. love the pizza, the linguini with clams, and the whole fish of the day, dorado this time. the lemon sorbet is delicious. great... More

We had my daughter's birthday at Via Ponte and it was outstansing. The food was freshly prepared and there is a wide selection of appetizers and main courses. We had vegans, vegetarians and T-Bone enthusiasts in our party and everyone was very pleased with their selections. The service was wonderful- very professional and attentive- but not overly so. The atmosphere... More

Recommended by the innkeeper at our B&B, we were delighted to find that he was on target. Great service, perfectly prepared food and a sauce you could die for! I don't know what their secret ingredients are, but they were exceptional. A must visit when in the region. More

I love their individual pizzas. Great crust, fresh mozzarella, tangy sauce, interesting toppings. I've tried several entrees, and the only one I have ordered again is the pasta ragu. It is flavorful with a great texture. It is a large portion, so I take half home. I've found some of their entrees/pasta dishes to be dry. Someone told me this... More

The food is good, not outstanding (except for the desserts, which are remarkable). It's a bit expensive for what it is. Also, important to note this is a BYOB, so bring your own. Service was a little spotty. More details: http://globalfoodiecritic.blogspot.com/2010/10/via-ponte-ristorante-sicillano-stockton.html More
