Very nice restaurant, great ambiance! As you walk up the steps there are tables in alcoves which makes it a little private and very romantic. We started with martinis (great variety) and escargot encrut with brie, delish! For entrees we had flounder stuffed with crabmeat and topped with artichoke hearts and horseradish encrusted grouper. Yum! We ended the the dessert... More

I have gone to Scarborough Fair restaurant many times over the years, and it is my "high-end" treat to my family and friends on special occasions. I am GUARANTEED incredible food and service, and when things aren't just right (which is very rare), it is remedied immediately. The head chef ("JC"?) is top-notch and consistently creates beauty in his dishes.... More

Went last night expecting the best based on reviews I've read online. Food was overbooked and bland. Mostly filler food as well(bland white rice??!) also place says they have acres of land? All we saw was a car dealership, a road and a parking lot from various windows around the restaurant. Staff is rude and pretentious. Do not waste your... More

Great food, service and atmosphere. A little dated in terms of decor and if you are looking for a trendy restaurant with mediocre food, this is not the place. Duck was awesome, shrimp with pasta was also great. Fresh food with great taste. as for the negative reviews of a smell (it is down the shore for gosh sakes) and... More

This restaurant has a great atmosphere...it feels like you are in a refurbished (and very well done) barn. Beautiful stained glass windows and interesting layout/floorplan make it feel like a special restaurant. Or Easter dinner was delicious! I had the horseradish crusted grouper with mango curry sauce (yum!) My app was even better - grilled brie in a toasted almond... More

Our third time at Scarborough and consistently good each time. Although you are at a higher price point than some other local establishments, it is well worth it. Simple but well thought out menu, nightly specials (try the soups). Each dish is always well prepared and very good. Little touches such as fresh flowers and real candles on the table... More

We were very excited to try this restaurant after passing it several times and never really hearing anything bad about it. We checked the website and everything appeared very nice. We made a reservation for a Wednesday night birthday dinner since it seemed like a special meal kind of place. The smell hit us as soon as we walked through... More
