The food at this BYOB is quite good, and the service is more than adequate, but the tight quarters leave a lot to be desired. That is why I was gratified to hear that they have rented the storefront next door and plan to break on through to the other side. Although it is often the kiss of death for... More

Overall experience was very good. Had reservation for 2 at 7pm for this past Sat night. Host seemed a little flustered with multiple 7pm reservations waiting to be seated. Not sure if this is still due to "new restaurant" status of the place (i.e. working out their pacing) or just a few extra long lingering tables for that evening. Patience... More

We recently ate at Pearl and had a very good experience. I had the skirt steak and my wife had the Ravioli. We also shared the mussels and Caesar salad as our appetizers. For dessert we tried a banana based dish (can't remember the name). The salad was great, very fresh, as were the mussels too. I also really enjoyed... More

Pearl is easy to miss but you'd be sad if you did. The menu changes on an almost daily basis because the owner and the chef take pride on only using the freshest ingredients. The steamed littleneck clams in garlic parsley broth are to die for and the lobster crab ravioli (which are handmade by the owner's mother) taste like... More

Had dinner there on a Saturday, and the place was packed. The tables are very close together, but not side-by-side like you would see in NYC, but back to back, so that there is very little room for the waiters to get by. They manage somehow, and the food was excellent. We had the mussels appetizer, which had a delicious... More

I see what people mean about the small size of the place, however, I would always choose a smaller, more intimate setting with excellent food and great customer service like Pearl Restaurant, than a large restaurant with average food and the servers scramble to meet your needs I had the Duck & Vegetables for my entree and my husband had... We went to Pearl on a Saturday night with 730 reservations. We were seated promptly. It is a small one storefront place with seating for around 40. The menu entree prices top out at around $30, with most in the $25 range, typical for a good byob restaurant in the area. Our party of 4 each had something different, I... More

What a find, truly, small and intimate but they A. know how to treat the customer B. excellent quality of food C.and it starts with the Bread. I hate when they bring a basket of bread that is tasteless, I know that they personally shopped around to find the best and so it is the first thing that enters your... More
