Every now and then you want a cheese steak with everything on it and this is where you get it in Princeton. Yes it caters to the hs and univ crowds. But they do serve food other than 'greasy.' And grandchildren enjoy splitting a turkey hoagie, say, with fries or a salad on the side. They also have Plain and... More

I have been coming here since I was a student at PHS in the 1990s. This is a rare find in the Princeton Area. The only place to get a quick, cheap and tasty take-out sandwich. Is is healthy? No. It is good comfort food. A large sandwich will feed two adults to the point where they are stuffed. Fries... More

Hoagie Haven is a local place, catering to the Princeton U crowd, but whenever I'm in town, I tend to stop in for a hoagie. The staff is always pleasant and it's a fun atmosphere!

My large size sandwich weighed about 6 lbs. It had anything I wanted on it and more. Was good for almost 3 meals. Try the sanchez. If your arteries hold out, its to die for lol!!

Hoagie Haven is a very interesting place. They have anything and everything you want to order. They have specialty hot hoagies (the Sanchez "extra dirty") is my favorite, Cole Subs, burgers, you name it they have it. It is also relatively inexpensive for the area it is located in. I would suggest anyone that is visiting Princeton, NJ to go... More

If you are looking for a hoagie that has fried meat, fried mozzarella sticks, fries, and other heart stopping ingredients, then this is the place to go. It is pretty inexpensive. A full signature hoagie fills me up for an entire day. There is no seating inside (although if there is room you can sit on the bench outside). If... More

greasy, overload with carbs, little protein (meat). this would work if opened at 2am and you're loaded.

Hoagie Haven offers something rare in Princeton - a cheap, hearty meal. That said, this place really isn't that great. The characteristic that makes it popular is the fact that it's 'open late' (usually between 1-2am, which really isn't as late as some students would like) and that it serves a bunch of uniquely greasy and nasty sandwiches. College students... More

Their hoagies and steaks are great - the rolls are perfect. Crowded with students day & night, so you know the prices are fair. Not sure what they will come up with to put on their cheese steaks next - the mozzarella sticks were a nice addition.

Sometimes I go here to grab a sandwich before heading to the Ivy Inn for Quizzo, though I usually opt for George's (two doors down). If you are in the mood for greasy, cheap, and tasty food, that is exactly what you'll get. I got sick off the chicken salad sandwich once, though, so I won't be ordering that again.
