Stumbled on this place when I was lost one day, and so glad I did! The oyster selection was limited that day (only 3) but tried them all and they were all excellent. Also a fan of the crab pizza and shrimp burger. And the bar staff was very friendly! More

We had dinner here Sunday night of President's Day weekend. The service was alittle slow, but they were a little overwhelmed by the unexpected crowds. Our food, however, was very good. We had the lobster bisque and the seafood chowder, both very tasty. Our main course, which for the life of me I can't remember, was obviously good, but otherwise... More

The waitstaff was friendly but, obviously, overwhelmed. The portions were tiny, the shrimp was over-cooked and the small slab of polenta was cold and dry. We will not be back. More

This place is in a nice colonial looking brick building (from the front) on the main street in Milford. I think it may be the only cloth napkin place in town, but Milford is not very large and the menu here surprisingly is. We started out with some relatively uncomplicated but well-made cocktails and both ordered Gazpacho which was quite... More

In an old stone house, this restaurant offers excellent seafood and other entrees, wonderful desserts. My friend had flounder and found it prepared exactly right with a good sauce. I had a special of lightly fried oysters that were small but plump and tasty. My blueberry kuchken was to die for. Service was low key but attentive. Quiet, classical music... More

Having been to The Milford Oyster House a few times over the years, I am always impressed by the consistency. The service is casual, greeting regulars with enthusiasm, but never less than professional The seafood is always fresh and while occasionally there is a bit of overreach on some specials where the imagination doesn't quite live up to the execution,...
